Besides reading over the scriptural overview of the Menorah, we discussed what the possible significance of various details of the menorah, such as; The number of candlesticks, the almond tree detailing, it's position in the tabernacle and the fact that it is made of a sold, hammered work.
 
Of course like other elements of the Tabernacle, the menorah is a shadow of good things to come- Jesus/Yeshua!
(Hebrews 10:1, Colossians 2:17)
 
Just as the priests needed the menorah and the light it gave to preform their duties unto YHWH, so it is with Yeshua. No one can come to the Father except through Him. Without the light from the menorah the priests would be in utter darkness and unable to find their way to the Father.
