Our thoughts on Calendars.....We recommend everyone evaluate the complexities and nuances of this particular topic for themselves. We certainly encourage you to research this topic and observe the calendaring methodology as you determine to be correct based on the scripture.
Be certain, regardless of the calendar you follow, the observance of the Feasts is commanded in scripture and they should be celebrated. Also, keep in mind observing the Feasts is actually a type of rehearsal for the future and hold special significance related the first and second comings of our Messiah, Yeshua! We hope, with many others, for final resolution of Yahweh's calendar at the coming of Messiah! The H.U.B. Leadership, as a whole, believes for the sake of unity with Israel and upon teachings we have studied, to keep a Hillel II calendar. This is not stating one calendar is right or wrong, but because we believe in order to come together in unity (not uniformity) as the body of the Messiah so that we can keep the commandment to fellowship with one another, standing with the same calendar as many of our brothers and sisters in Israel helps to solidify that bond. Shalom!
